It’s no secret that hip-hop star Drake is a huge fan of the late Aaliyah, (his back is tatted with her face). He announced this week that his new single will premiere at the OVO Festival this weekend in Toronto and it will feature vocals from Aaliyah. Another rumor spreading around is that Drizzy will also produce a posthumous album for the songstress.

Although I am a huge Aaliyah fan, I’m not quite sure how I feel about this. I hope Drizzy pays homage in the proper way and doesn’t take away from the beautiful music that Aaliyah gave us.
