Harlem Femcee Azealia Banks just announced that her debut album will not be dropping this Fall as originally planned. Instead we will have to wait until February 12th, 2013. But judging by her recent meet ups with Kanye West and Twitter talks with Lady Gaga, something tells me the delay is a very good thing.

In the mean time Ms.Banks is dropping something else for her fans, a M.A.C Lipstick! She joins the list of many female artists to collab with M.A.C. Fellow NY girl Nicki Minaj dropped her “Pink Friday” shade 2 years ago. Azealia went for a dark eggplant purple shade calling it “Yung Rapunxel”. Purple is my favorite color and I’ve been experimenting with dark lipstick lately, suttin new for me…so I will definitely be purchasing this!

It drops September 5th online for only $15! Then will roll out into all New York M.A.C. stores during Fashion’s Night Out on September 6th, and remain through September 20th. She is also scheduled to be making a special appearance at the M.A.C store in Soho on Sept. 6th for FNO..
