Converse is really bringing their best creative forces to the table lately by bringing back classic models that were a staple in American history. In their Fall/Winter 2012 First String Pro Leather collab collection, they partnered up with 5 different teams [Stüssy, Patta, CLOT, Bodega & St.Alfred] each to design a Converse Pro Leather shoe.
First up is Stüssy NY. They took iconic patterns and made them flow all together on one shoe. Now I already know this is not going to be everyone’s favorite, it’s def gonna be much for some. But it’s all about taking risks! Hypebeast caught up with Leo Vergara who is Senior Manager at the Stüssy NYC store to chat aboout the design and production process of the shoe, check that out here.
The sneaker releases tomorrow August 25th. Only 125 pairs are available at a cost of $128.
