Some of you may know about this amazing underground rapper from the West Coast, but many of you may not. Let me put you on, his name is Johnson Barnes, but he goes by his stage name Blu. He released his first album in 2007 with Hip-hop producer Exile titled Below The Heavens. That album is amazing and made me fan. Although he never hit it big within mainstream media, he is respected by many and continues to put music out to his avid fans. He is also embarking on a European tour this Fall.

His music gives off that 90′s vibe. It’s chill, down to earth music that expresses real things that everyone can relate to. Take a listen to his newest track “Lemonade” below.
